Malo was a well known Sorcerer in the Hidden Village of Durandal. One night he summoned Daryl, Dranas, Gui, and Volkorn to mentor them further into their fields of expertise and their destiny that was written long ago; to help protect those who can not protect themselves from the overpowering Sorcerers of evil will.

He also built many extravagant training dungeons to help out the ROD get stronger and work as a team. He was an old friend of Zarkan and Teegle and they called themselves TMZ when they were younger. He also does not do very well flying, as he gets sick. So he never had a Dragon to ride.
He is believed to have died in the destruction of Durandal.
There is still much to learn about Malo.
