The Rebirth.
In the year 202 BR the Great War of Sorcerers occurred. The land that was scared has been re-branded as The Wastelands with the only parts that still forest vegetation belong to those that with powerful sorcerer's but never took action.
Millions of people died, and the mid =lands was burnt and salted and food supplies destroyed. This is what we know now as The Wastelands.In the end only 8 families remained but only 7 regions were protected.
Dragons even fought along side others making great destruction where they flew.
In the end the 8 remaining people from noble families agreed that war should end 798 years ago.
